Jörn Wegmann
Trombone
Born in 1972, Jörg Wegmann received his first instrumental lesson at the age of 6. From 1992-1998 he studied instrumental education at the Folkwanghochschule in Essen majoring in accordeon with Mie Miki, and trombone with Norbert Weschta.
Since 1996 he has taught at the Niederrheinischen Musik- und Kunstschule of Duisburg the following subjects: accordeon, euphonium and trombone. Since 2004 he has led the children's wind orchestra "Mini- Jazz".
As a musician he dedicates a lot of his work to music theatre. He was involved in several productions at the Schauspielhaus Essen as well as at the Theatre on the Ruhr, Mühlheim.
