Stage director, author, scriptwriter and theatre director
Was successively director of the Festival Mondial de Théâtre de Nancy, France, Artistic director of the Schauspielhaus (dramatic art) in Bochum, Germany, "General Intendant" for the Theatres of Nuremberg - opera, dramatic art and dance, Germany. At present directs the Phénix, Scène Nationale de Valenciennes, France.
Has directed twenty or so productions, notably, "Traum am Rhein" the first truly ubiquitous performance with eight simultaneous sites and twelve film crews, in Düsseldorf in 1997.
